Howard is the seventh born in a family of nine children, none of whom have been able to advance far in their educations due to both the cost and far distances to schools. His father, Sam, is a pastor of a village church, a job that is demanding in its workload but one that offers very little in way of financial compensation. Though they work hard and have devoted their lives to serving God, Sam and his wife have always struggled to provide adequate food, medication, and schooling for their children.
Fortunately, Howard has been a part of the EWT sponsorship program since he was eight years old. He has thrived in school and has consistently ranked among the top performers in his class. He is an exceptionally kind young man, and he remains thankful and excited for the opportunity to attend school. His family has been greatly uplifted and encouraged by his education as well.
Howard has completed his primary education and has recently begun secondary school. To help make this transition, he now needs a boarding sponsor to come alongside his education sponsor. He is praying and waiting for God to provide this sponsor for him, with faith that He will continue the good work He has already begun.
