Meet Costa from Jireh Children's Home

There are some things that make you happy and put a smile on your face, and we hope that this short video of Costa does just that for you today! She is the newest little girl to join our Children's Home... she arrived six months ago at four years old.

Costa's short life has been anything but sunny. Her father is unknown to her, and her mother is mentally disabled... often wondering from place to place with no one knowing her whereabouts. As a result, Costa spent her first year of life under the care of her grandmother, who passed away when Costa was still a toddler. Costa then went to live with her elderly great-grandparents who struggled to feed themselves and their sweet great-granddaughter. Just weeks before Costa arrived at Jireh, her great-grandfather passed away.

How we thank God that we can now provide a home for Costa where she can experience the security and stability she has never had. Already, her little voice is filled with giggles, and her arms are reaching out to give and receive love. Even more, Costa is learning, day by day, just how precious she is in the eyes of our great God! As the gifted Christian writer, A.W. Tozer, once said, "What comes into our minds when we think about God is the most important thing about us." Our prayer is that Costa's words would never leave her, and she would always make God her rock!

Thank you, EWT Partners, for all you do to make the powerful love of God

known in our children's lives! It’s a life-changing love!
