Child Sponsorship Gave Me Hope & a Future

“I don’t know where to start with my thanks. From the rising of the sun to the setting of the sun is the joy I feel inside. First I want to thank God for all He has done for me. Before I was sponsored, I had no dream, because I couldn’t see a future. Instead, I was seeing that I had no dad, and my mom was brewing alcohol all day. There was no hope for any of us kids.

“Then, when I was sponsored and began studies, life began to change for me. My mom’s life also began to change. Because of my sponsorship, she felt loved and went to Bible study where she met Jesus and had friends. She then found other ways to make money through farming to send my brothers and sisters to school like me.

“I thank God so much for my sponsors. Without them I would have been a street kid. But now I speak good English, have grown as a leader, and see myself with a great future. More than anything else, I want to give my life back to God for all He has done for me!”
