Meet Precious Lucy and Celebrate her Wonderful Gift

Lucy is an eighty-year-old woman who is a pure delight. I recently had the pleasure of visiting her home . . . it's a shell of mud with only a little broken bed and a small bench inside, but Lucy has the joy of the Lord and that makes her rich.

Lucy has been committed to our discipleship program for some time. She has been memorizing and studying Scripture which has taught her how precious she is in God's sight. She really is precious . . . almost like a little child. To be with Lucy makes you feel better inside.

I am glad to tell you that Lucy recently received a gift. A water well was drilled right outside her home that serves her entire community. When I asked her about this wonderful gift, Lucy's face lit up and she said, "This is an answer to my prayers . . . something I have been praying for all my life . . . and now I have been blessed."
