Discipleship Program goes into high schools

200 high school students joined our Bible Study Correspondence School at the beginning of the 2018 school year. So much thanks to our EWT partners for making this possible by providing Bibles and discipleship materials for them.

It’s really humbling to see the intensity of the high school students when given the opportunity for discipleship. Rarely do they have such training or resources available and they see it as a God-given privilege.

This year, 200 students have committed themselves to a six-book study. After completing each book, they take a test and memorize twelve verses before they progress to the next book. By the end of the year, they will have memorized seventy-two verses and gained much in their understanding of what it means to be a disciple of Jesus.

We are especially blessed to have two outstanding young men on our staff, James and Tony, who are going into the high schools to teach and mentor the students. Both James and Tony have been trained in theology and have a zeal for the Lord that is contagious. The kids love them and seek their guidance.

We believe this is only the beginning of our work in high schools as more and more doors are opening. Surely God is at work, building networks as only He can do. All praise to Him for every student who is part of this study, and for the good work His Word will do in their lives.
